I am really pleased to be working with Rewilding Earth, where we will be launching Birds of the Mogollon Wildway later in the spring. I have made a start on the bird illustrations, and I’ve done the front cover, centre spread and some other artwork for the booklet.
I have 26 new birds for this one (Peregrine Falcons are sufficiently similar the world over so I can reuse my illustration) and have already painted 17. Of course I have painted all the pretty ones so I have quite a lot of brown to wade through now…
The launch is pencilled in for 1st June so I have some work to do between now and then but I am looking forward to working with a new team and it’s great to be part of such a purposeful project.
