I have found that my daylight lamp fits on to my table, and the flex reaches to the plug – yay! I really need to sort out a Velux for the living part of my attic room but for now, it’s a daylight lamp.
I bought a selection of Khadi paper last time I was at Cass Art – not entirely sure why. Anyway I decided to use them for Christmas cards for family and friends; I don’t generally send or give any cards but I wanted to use my Khadi postcards and I had some old card blanks from years ago.
They turned out quite well, and I loved painting them as gouache works so well with the soft, spongy paper. I added white (difficult to see I grant you) as the creaminess of the paper rather invited it.

Please excuse the rather murky photos!
We are privileged to be the recipients of one of these vibrant and special Christmas cards. Thank you Jennifer! Have a lovely Christmas.
