My daughter is working part-time at Esquires Coffee in Tunbridge Wells, and I thought I would take a trip over to see her before bringing her back to mine for her weekly fix of mum/dog/cat-time. I decided to take the dog with me, as he’s never been on a train and I’d like to be able to take him to London with me when I can. I took my Clairefontaine sketchbook and my Tombow brush pens.
I had and excellent cappuccino made by Rose, and a huuuuuuuuge slice of Oreo Cake and the cafe was almost empty as I got there half an hour before closing, so it was fun to sketch the surroundings even though I didn’t get to practise drawing people! Here is my finished drawing:
