Ok ok I’m almost out of -tober puns…promise.
So, what’s to brag about then?
I am really rather good at being self-deprecating and overly-British about my achievements so it goes against the grain to shout about something I’ve done, and of course, we all know that any accomplishment we claim to be our own has actually taken a village, but at the risk of starting to sound like I’m someone you dread getting an Oscar, I have done a thing and I am proud of it.
Here goes.

Look at that LARGE number. It is the number of birdwatching logbooks I have sold since I first launched them back in May 2021. I had to check the maths about 6 times, but after my lengthy admin sessions, I realised that it was indeed the case that I have shifted that volume of pocketbooks. I have no formal design, publishing, sales, or marketing experience so I feel that I deserve a pat on the back for my perseverance if nothing else. I also like to think that if even a small percentage of those sales have resulted in someone starting, rekindling, or expanding their birdwatching journey, I will count that as a result.
In celebration of this milestone, I gave myself a day off from fretting about orders and invoices, and enjoyed a quiet moment to reflect on my little books and how proud I am of them.

That’s brilliant! Congratulations. So pleased for you and all those people and organisations who are part of your Logbook community.
