a trout and a salmon
It’s always lovely to see my artwork in situ, rather than pinned up with bulldog clips on my pegboard among the glue and tubes of paint. The leaping salmon I painted for my friend is now hanging across from the leaping Brown Trout, and looks great against the Little Greene wallpaper:
I now have a dedicated page for my fish paintings here; I realise there are some non-fish but it gets a bit clumsy to try and work out how to group them, taxonomically speaking. Swimming things? Fish-and-fish-adjacent water creatures? They are all nekton technically, but I’m not sure that’s a well-known term among the general population.
