wishing you all a merry Christmas

Here we are, on Christmas Eve, and I’m awaiting the arrival of my veg box delivery which is one of my favourite parts of the festivities. I’ve been an Abel & Cole customer for over 15 years and the Christmas box is always such a delight. I’m mainly plant-based these days so it’s full of goodies, and I can’t wait to get cooking.

It’s also a time of quiet and reflection, where I can choose how to spend my days as normal service is suspended, and I can think about what’s gone well and what I want to improve and develop next year. While I’m not a “new-year-new-you” type of person, the enforced hiatus is a good chance for me to stop and consider what I want to tackle in the upcoming months.

In the meantime, I’ve got a pot of tea to drink, bread to bake, and pastry to make. It’s a Wonderful Life is playing in the background, one of my favourite Christmas films, so I shall sign off and make a start on my to-do list.

Thanks for all your likes and comments, and for taking the time to read my blogposts.
