My Stillman & Bird Beta sketchbook doesn’t actually have that many pages so I rattled through this one pretty quickly. It’s the usual mix of Charleston-inspired artworks, random paintings and drawings, and sessions with Wild Life Drawing.
I didn’t properly bond with this sketchbook as I didn’t especially like the paper, and I really like having a band to keep it shut. First-world problem of course, but the little things do matter I find. The paper was great for ink but not so good with paint and it felt very thick and inflexible. I’m back to a Leuchtturm for my next one but that has a lot more pages so will take me a while to complete!
