I have had this sketchbook a while, and ditched it in favour of more interesting ones for about a year, so it’s interesting to see how I have progressed. Up until about halfway through, I was only using the right hand page, so I have gone back and filled in blank pages where applicable. Since I have had this sketchbook I have become much more dedicated to my art practice, so I certainly tackle more subjects, and am much more experimental. This paper of this sketchbook is has a slight texture so takes all media really well. I think I prefer my Leuchtturm sketchbooks as they have a lot of pages so I can really bond with them, and the paper is super smooth which I like, even though it doesn’t like wet media as much. I’m more tempted to sketch in pencil as it doesn’t feel like a waste of lovely painting paper.
