My daughter (who doesn’t read my blog!) loves autumn, so I have done her a painting for her birthday next week which I’m hoping she will be able to reuse each year. I love this paper and it’s so lovely to use with the gouache so this was a pleasure to do. The deckled edges make it easy to frame too.
I wasn’t sure if I should do lettering but I found a fun font on Adobe and so wrote Conkers in “Duckie” on InDesign, flipped it horizontally, printed it off, traced it and painted it in Schmincke Horadam English Red. I think she will like it.
