Schools and Clubs

The importance of engaging the next generation

Getting young people involved in nature is an essential activity if the future of our wildlife and biodiversity is to be conserved and restored. There are many initiatives available through a number of different organisations such as building bird boxes and bug houses, creating wild areas, picking up litter, or growing fruit and vegetables.

My Town & Country Garden birdwatching logbooks are brilliant for Primary and Secondary schools wishing to provide a resource for any birdwatching activity, especially when linked with the RSPB’s Big Garden Birdwatch or BBC Springwatch. They are suitable for all ages and abilities, and can be customised and personalised by students to accommodate your particular project or area of interest.

Discounts available

I’m pleased to offer a 50% discount off the RRP (so £2.50 per copy) for schools, clubs or other groups when ordering 10 or more logbooks* and I’m happy to advise on which one would be most suitable for your circumstances.

The logbooks are printed right here in the UK, and are plastic-free. A sturdy cover with rounded corners make them robust enough for use outside, and the paper is smooth and art-grade, making it substantial enough to be used with felt-tips or water-based media. Tables and ticklists, as well as pages for notes and sketches allow for species to be recorded, and the finished booklets provide a great memento of an event or project.

What makes the logbooks so great?
