The RSPB’s Big Garden Birdwatch covers the weekend of 27-29th January, and I’m hoping the weather will be kind this time as the last two years have been literal washouts!
I’m going to have a go at doing some sketches of both these. I have a good vantage point from my window of the bird table and feeder, and although I rarely get to watch the Watches live, iPlayer makes it easy to catch up when I feel like a break from my other work.
Meanwhile, I have a large book order to place with my printers, and some stickers from MOO as well. There’s paper to get so I can paint the birds for Greenwich Peninsula, and this time I’m going with Fabriano Artistico 5, which was recommended to me by one of my followers – thank you!
I’m also prepping for the upcoming term at Wilderness Wood and my home-ed art class.
