Following on from the success of the first Drawing on Nature we held at the Barn, we are running two more over the summer for families – or adults who need a bit of quiet time! An hour and a half of lightly guided drawing, using found objects and foliage from the inspirational surroundings of Wilderness Wood.
All materials are provided, and the quiet atmosphere and focussed attention is a great way to unwind with your children during the busy summer holidays. Studying leaves, flowers, bark and pine cones is a blissful time to sit down, switch off and immerse yourself in some gentle activity – and get away from screens.
The session is from 10.30 – 12noon on Thursday 25th August and costs just £10 for each member family (or £15 for non-members). Aimed at children from 8 or so onwards, although younger children are of course welcome if they love to draw.
